Description

I've just installed the new version of XSLFast 5.0 (full installation). After installing I tried to open XSLFast, but I got an error message (see screenshot).

I've checked the folders, but there is no folder ..\bin\server. There is only a folder in the bin called ..\bin\client

Can you attach xslafst.log file as well?

To fix this, please follow to the following key in registry editor:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\1.6

Here you'll see the value

RuntimeLib

Please check what's there; if you see this ...\server\jvm.dll and you have no server foler, just replace to ...\client\jvm.dll

There is known bug of Java 1.6 installer. Latest Java versions for 1.6 have no this bug, so as an alterbative you can setup latest Java 1.6 64bit at your Windows.

Victor,

I've attached a screenshot where you can see what is in the RuntimeLib. I tried to attache the xslfast.log, but there is no such file (see screenshot_3)

Next to that I took the following steps:
1. I've installed Java 1.6 64bit on my windows.
2. Uninstall XSLFast 5.0
3. Installed XSLFast 5.0 (full installation)

Result: the same error message and no changes in the RuntimeLib

Please try the following - remove all Java installations from your computer, uninstall XSLfast and install it back. It should install correct Java with both client and server files.
